Had a pleasant stay! We had a nice and spacious room close to a shower and toilet. The breakfast was fantastic with all local products (lamb, various jams, bread, etc.). We also had dinner there twice. The trout was delicious! The people who run the farm are friendly. We would definitely come back here! A hidden gem.

The place is ermo, but was a great accommodation option in Skutustadir. We stayed in a simple little house, but with all comfort and warm. It had snowed, making the scene fantastic, which was recorded in our minds and cameras and yet, we saw the aurora boreal spectacle. The cost benefit was excellent. It offers wi-fi, restaurant and parking. Breakfast is available in the main house. The attention was kind.

We stayed 3 nights at Stong and really enjoyed the place as a whole compared to the other guesthouses of our trip. We had a room with shared bathroom but nevertheless with a private sink which is a real plus.

The cleanliness is absolutely perfect whether in the room or in my shared bathroom. It must also be said that each resident respected the premises regardless of nationality and it was very appreciative.

Breakfast is excellent with homemade bread, local lava braud and waffles in particular. The area being quite exceptional, we will return without hesitation to Stong for a future stay!!

Quiet place



Completely immersed in the Icelandic countryside. Very spacious, clean room and large bathroom. Being far from everything we decided to have dinner at the property. The grilled lamb was plentiful and very good, as was the soup served to us first. The breakfast was good, not exceptional, but it had everything. I advise
